King of Prussia Mall, in partnership with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, welcomes a brand new children’s play area located on the upper level of The Plaza near H&M.

The play area features bright, colorful play elements, including an ambulance, stethoscope, rescue helicopter and thermometer, and is designed to promote fun and exercise by incorporating tunnels, climbing elements and slides.

KoP Mall will host a grand opening event this Friday, Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. to celebrate the official opening of the new play area. With face painting, balloon twisting and a giveaway for the first 100 attending, the grand opening ceremony will be a fun, exercise-filled day for families and their children. Additionally, a ribbon cutting ceremony with officials from both organizations, as well as families from CHOP’s Specialty Care Centers, will take place.
