This weather really has me ready for warmer weather! Luckily Sahara Sam’s remains a warm 84 degrees of low humidity weather all year long thanks to a state-of-the-art temperature control system.
Located just 30 mins outside of Philadelphia, Sahara Sam’s Oasis opened its doors in March 2009 as New Jersey’s first free-standing indoor water park with 58,000 square feet of indoor aquatic attractions. Sahara Sam’s also features a one-of-a-kind retractable roof, full-service café and a 3,000 square foot family arcade. Sahara Sam’s Oasis is expanding again! The two acre outdoor water park is scheduled for a May 2013 opening. The 5 million dollar outdoor expansion will feature a 25 meter leisure pool (The Blue Lagoon), a children’s splash park (Splish-Splash), a full service bar (The Wipeout), volleyball courts and a 12,000 sq ft wave pool (The Rip & Roll). The project also includes an 8,000 square foot building addition featuring new kitchen facilities, restrooms, expanded party facilities, and a recently opened 350 foot body slide, The Nile Mile.
The Sahara Sam’s outdoor expansion is available at no additional cost to the Annual Pass members or with a standard admission ticket. The facilities will operate Memorial Day through Labor Day with select weekends in September.
