Free Admission on International Museum Day
Every year since 1977, International Museum Day is held worldwide sometime around 18 May. This year, the museum community will celebrate the 35th anniversary of this event: more than 30,000 museums in around 100 countries will hold special activities on this occasion. This year International Museum Day is held on Friday, May 18th.
This year Philadelphia Museum of Art is offering FREE Admission to celebrate International Museum Day.
The free admission includes special exhibitions, public tours and Art After 5.
