Cirque du Soleil’s TOTEM traces the journey of the human race from amphibian beginnings all the way into the future, imagining the realization of our ultimate desire to fly. Set on a stage inspired by the giant turtle, which represents Earth’s origins in many ancient civilizations, and drawing inspiration from various creation myths, TOTEM’s characters evolve through mind-blowing acrobatics and stunning visual displays, exploring the ties between all of Earth’s species and the dreams and infinite potential of humanity.
