Unfortunately our tires don’t last forever and there comes a time where they need to be replaced. It’s important to find the right tires at the right price and have them installed properly. New tires for your car isn’t always a small expense but it is a necessity. I’m so glad I found TireVan. Being a mom there’s nothing I dislike more than having to take my daughter to places where we have to sit and wait for a service. TireVan is a local service based out of Broomall that will come deliver and professionally install your tires at your home or work. That’s right, you don’t have to skip a beat when getting tires installed.
With TireVan I was able to order and schedule installation online at TireVan.com. I ordered my tires on a Sunday and scheduled my installation for Weds. Using their website was simple, all you really need to know is your tire size and type of tire. I liked that I was able to select my tires online. I took my time and did my research. There were 67 different tires that I could choose from. I loved that they had a large price range so you can find exactly what’s best for your budget. And like any other tire store they do offer sales and specials on tires. If you already have tires they can come and just install them for you as well. I definitely recommend that you visit TireVan.com and checking our their low prices. You can also order by phone at 1-877-847-3826.
I received the confirmation via e-mail of my installation two days prior so I was ready for their arrival. My appointment was schedule for Weds at noon. On the day off the installation I received a call at 11 am from Paul, the tire technician, informing me that he was running early. Apparently his last appointment was right in my neighborhood so he was literally 5 minutes away. When the TireVan truck arrived Paul just knocked on my door to let me know he was here, made sure my car was ready to have the tires installed and he had the correct tires I had ordered.
He quickly got started and jacked up the car. At this point you can either hang out and watch him or just go back to your day. Since I was reviewing TireVan I decided to hang out and ask questions. Paul says costumers will typically go back into their homes and he gets them when he’s done or if he needs anything.
The TireVan truck was fully equipped with all the machines to properly install and remove your tires from the rims. Paul informed me that that machine they have is the best for your rims because they have they have minimal contact with your rims. Your tires and rims go hand and hand so you need to make sure nothing happens to them like scratches or dents.
Paul did one side and then the other. Before I knew it, he was done. He had all the tools and experience which made this process go by very fast. Online it states that appointments can run up to 2 hours. My appointment for all 4 tires took about 45 minutes not including all my questions. I can understand how some appointments could go for 2 hours, it all depends on where your car is and the condition of your car.
Paul shared with me that he has installed tires on everything from the oldest car to even the fanciest. Treating each car with the same care. He’s been in neighborhoods all over the city to way out in the suburbs. This reassures me that you can trust TireVan and their tire technicians. If they can go out into any element they are prepared for anything.
When Paul was done he handed me a packet with my receipt, information on my tires, a tire gauge and the registration for my tires. They fill out the registration card for you, all you need to do is send it out.
Now that my car has new tires I can feel the difference when I’m driving. It feels like my car has a better grip on the road which is what I need for the winter here in Roxborough. After the winter we had last year I can only imagine what this winter will bring.
I highly recommend TireVan, I enjoyed my entire experience and thought it was almost effortless. If you’re busy like me don’t waste your time and gas. Do your shopping online, schedule your appointment and have them come to you!
I know I wasn’t the only one that was surprised by what has been dubbed “Snowtober” this past weekend. Living in a section of Philadelphia with lots of hills and small streets I really put my SUV to use. With the snow, rain and ice last week I realized it was time for new tires. It has been several years and I’ve put it off long enough. There’s nothing scarier than not being able to drive up a hill that your car typically should. I think that this is the best time to winterize your car and checking or replacing your tires is a great start.
