Review: Marie Callender’s Pot Pies

Being married to a firefighter means that there are a few nights during the week where he’s at work and I’m at home. Of course I miss my husband but the bright side of this is that I don’t have to cook dinner! It’s just me and my daughter so I’ll usually have leftovers, take-out or a frozen meal.

I love the convenience of frozen meals but I’m also very picky. Something I always keep in my freezer is frozen pot pies. You can’t go wrong with a pot pie. It’s a simple, healthy and filling meal. My favorite has to be Marie Callendar. The serving is generous and the price is affordable, around $2.10-$2.99. You can find it in your local grocer in the frozen food section.

I was excited to be able to review for you Marie Callendar’ Pot Pies. Marie Callender’s Pot Pies are a wholesome and complete dinner solution made with no preservatives —perfect for the whole family! It’s also a delicious, comforting and warm meal during the cold-weather months.

They are available in these varieties:
Chicken Pot Pie
Turkey Pot Pie
Beef Pot Pie
Creamy Mushroom Chicken Pot Pie
Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pot Pie
Honey Roasted Chicken Pot Pie
Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie

I decided to try the Honey Roasted Chicken Pot Pie and I loved how easy it was to prepare. I heated up mines in the oven although you can heat yours up in the microwave in a lot less time.

I took it out of the box

Followed the instructions on the bottom of the box

Fresh out of the oven

Filled with juicy meat, tender vegetables and golden, flaky crust
