I know it’s hard to believe but it’s almost that time to start preparing for back to school season! During the summer it’s not hard to keep the kids active but once school is back in session there will be less time to get up and moving during the school week. My toddler son is always on the move no matter what time of year it is but for my daughter who’s entering 2nd grade in September it’s not as easy. I know this school year will bring more classwork and homework.
Luckily my daughter loves sports and we have her participate in soccer in the fall then softball in the spring. Here in Philly we have some rough winters and it’s not always ideal for our kids to be outside for long. I find myself finding ways for my kids to beat cabin fever.
The LeapFrog LeapBand is a fun and interactive way to get your kids active. The LeapBand is the only kids activity tracker that encourages active play and healthy habits with a customizable pet pal.
