Deal: Take $5 off the First Month of Indego Bike Share with Capital One

Capital One is teaming up with Indego and the city of Philadelphia to become the official banking sponsor of the city of Philadelphia’s bike share program. As a key benefit of the sponsorship, Capital One customers will receive $5 off their first month’s membership when they use a Capital One 360 Checking debit card. Here’s how:

  • Go to, click the “Become a Member” button and choose “Indego30” membership
  • Enter your Capital One debit card’s first 6 digits as the promo code
  • Hop on a bike and enjoy $5 off your first month’s membership

It’s so simple to save 30% on your first month, such a great deal!

After the Pope visit, Indego riders really benefited from the empty roads. With many stations across the city Indego Bike Share makes it an economical choice. Plus, lets be honest here, with all the traffic in our city taking Indego is the way to go for both transportation or just for fun. I don’t own a bicycle anymore because I just don’t have the space or time but my kids do. They love bike riding as do I so I like having an option of accessing a bike without the maintenance of owning one.

Capital One is committed to being an integral part of the Philadelphia community. Through their partnership with Indego, they are sponsoring ten bike share stations around the city:

  • 9th & Arch Sts
  • 19th & Lombard Sts
  • Girard & Leopard Sts
  • 38th & Lancaster Sts
  • 10th & Reed Sts
  • 17th & Girard Sts
  • 6th & Fairmount Sts
  • 21st & Catherine Sts
  • Broad & Federal Sts
  • 24th & Sansom Sts

If you’re not currently banking with Capital One, you can sign up online at or by visiting the Capital One Philadelphia-based Rittenhouse Café at 1636 Walnut Street.

Not only will you save money on Indego, but you can also take advantage of fee-free banking with 360 Checking by Capital One and a free nationwide ATM network – with over 200 ATMs around Philadelphia.

Also, Indego members receive 50% off any handcrafted Peet’s beverage at the Capital One Rittenhouse Café with their Indego Key through October 29.
