The Lost Egypt interactive exhibit takes you on an immersive quest for knowledge revealing how archaeologists use modern science and technology to uncover and understand the ancient civilization of Egypt. It features human and animal mummies, scans, and forensic facial reconstructions. Visitors explore a re-creation of an Egyptian tomb, and authentic art and artifacts from the daily life and funerary culture of ancient Egypt. Lost Egypt will be at the Franklin Institute January 30 – August 28, 2016.
