Pay only $19 for select performances for this Jazzy Aerial Spectacle.
Like a Baz Luhrmann movie come to life, French performance troop Transe Express’ new show, “Cristal Palace”, is a hyper-kinetic, jazz-fueled, surrealistic spectacle that’s been dubbed an aerial dance party. A giant chandelier hangs high overhead, where the band perches, setting the swingin’ soundtrack to the acrobats flying through the air. Transe Express has been called “the pioneers of street art,” and now they return to the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts to premiere their latest site-specific extravaganza that’s sure to blow minds wide open in Fairmont Park. To top off the experience, Nobuntu, Zimbabwe’s acclaimed, all female a cappella quintet, will perform their unique blend of Afro-jazz and gospel before the show, on the banks of the Schuylkill River.
This is a limited time offer.
