
You got your baskets, now all you need is eggs! With Easter this Sunday, Saturday is a great time to get out throughout the city with your little ones to fill your baskets with treats and fun. In some cases the Easter bunny himself might be there! Here are egg hunts and fun going on in the Philadelphia area:

Stenton’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt From 1pm – 3pm celebrate the Easter holiday by filling your baskets with eggs and chocolate goodies! Learn about natural dyes made from flowers, vegetables, and animal products while dyeing eggs that are provided. Enjoy fun games and crafts too!
Community Easter Egg Hunt at Gorgas Park Come out to Gorgas Park in Roxborough on Saturday, April 7th at 10am for a community Easter egg hunt with 25,000 FREE eggs! Eggs will be filled with candy, stickers and a few other surprises. There will be plenty of fun, balloon animals, petting zoo and get your photo taken with the Easter bunny!
Easter at The Piazza Come join us for an afternoon of fun for the kids at The Piazza at Schmidt’s. There will be egg coloring tables, a cupcake truck, an Easter egg hunt, prize give-a-ways, and of course the Easter bunny. Bring your own camera to take pictures of have your kids photo taken by our photographer. The fun will be begin at 11am, so come early to secure your spot. The egg hunt will begin at 12 noon and the fun will go on until 2pm. Be sure to bring your own baskets for the egg hunt.

The Great Egg Hunt at Franklin Square Throughout the whimsical playground of Franklin Square, discover the Great Egg Hunt! All Guests must register for a free timed ticket. Limited number of tickets available for each age-range on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is on-site only and opens at 11am.
Easter Promenade 2012 featuring Annual Easter Parade This Easter Sunday afternoon will host activities and events for visitors of all ages and interests! The parade will begin promptly at 1pm, starting at Passyunk Avenue and South Street. Join a Doggie Parade by PAWS animal shelter and receive giveaways courtesy of B101. All patrons are asked to arrive at the parade check-in on Passyunk Ave at 12:30 PM to receive a pair of bunny ears and a chance to ride VIP in the headlining Big Bus! The festivities at Headhouse Square will follow immediately after the parade and include contests, music, dancing, giveaways, and even animal adoption opportunities.
