The Campaign for Working Families (CWF) files both federal and PA state income taxes for working families. They strive to insure that working people take full advantage of public benefits available to them including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), a refundable tax credit for low-wage earners.

Each year the Campaign for Working Families operates free tax sites across Philadelphia. Some sites have Spanish speaking volunteers and staff available. CWF sites do not accept appointments; customers are seen on first come, first served walk-in basis.

Families that earned less than $51,000 and Individuals who earned less than $20,000 are eligible for services at CWF free tax sites.

Tax sites will be open from January 25 – April 15, 2013.

There is high demand for CWF’s free, high quality tax preparation services in January and February. You will enjoy a shorter wait time if you come in March to have your taxes prepared.

New this year! You can drop off your tax information at the Philly 311 Center, located at City Hall, Room 167 on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10am–2pm and pick it up on the next scheduled day at 1207 Chestnut, 4th floor.
