ArtSee Activities Family Programs provide a refreshing menu of fun-filled learning experiences at the Barnes and beyond, for young people and their families. A growing range of on-site and virtual options cultivate curiosity, stir the imagination, and generate excitement about the fabulous art, architecture, and nature that make up the Barnes Foundation. Many of the programs are free.

The current crop of programs is designed for pre-school children, youth, and the entire family. New programs for teens will roll out soon.

Riddle of the Room Family Audio Tour
What can be real or imaginary and still point you in the right direction for great art detection? Find out by playing this creative, self-guided interactive audio game designed especially for children ages 7–12.

Calling all art detectives! Visiting the Barnes collection is challenging fun as you solve the riddle of the room posed on the art cards in this kid-friendly tote designed for children ages 7–12. Free

Weekend ArtSee Activities Drop-in Programs
Location: Seminar Room, Lower Level

A delightful way for children and adults to enjoy art and art-making together. Best for children ages 6–12 and their caregivers. Free program tickets are available on-site and are good for program only. Collection Gallery admission is not included.

Every Saturday, 11 am–1 pm
Every Sunday, 1–3 pm
Every 4th Friday, 5–7 pm

ARTime Storytime
Location: Lower Level
A learning storytime for preschoolers, featuring exciting books, action rhymes, songs, art, and activities. Best for children ages 3–5 and their caregivers.

Every Thursday, 10:30–11 am
Free. Space is limited. Reservations required:  http://www.barnesfoundation.org/education/families. Admission to the Collection Gallery is not included.

ARTime Pajama Tourtime
Location: Annenberg Light Court, Ground Floor

3rd Fridays, 6–6:30 pm

An entertaining exploration of the galleries for children 5 and under and their caregivers. FREE – ADMISSION TICKETS REQUIRED.
