    Free: Build and Grow Clinic: Rumblin’ Race Car at Lowe’s
    Stop into your local Lowe’s Hardware store this Saturday, 2/25, for a free Build and Grow Clinic from 10:30a-11:30a. Your child won’t want to miss this Jimmie Johnson #48 race car!     Free: One Book, One Philadelphia: Running the Road to ABC
    Come out to African American Museum in Philadelphia on Saturday, 2/25, from 1p-3p for One Book, One Philadelphia: Running the Road to ABC. Presented by the Free Library of Philadelphia, the goal of One Book, One Philadelphia is to promote reading, literacy and libraries, and to encourage the entire greater Philadelphia area to come together through reading and discussing a single book.

    Join multi-talented storyteller, artist, and historical re-enactor Carla Wiley for an engaging presentation of the young children’s book Running the Road to ABC by Denizé Lauture. Book supply is limited. Books will be distributed to visitors on a first come, first served basis.

    Free: Fun With Dr. Seuss at Oxford Valley Mall
    Oxford Valley Mall invites local-area kids and parents to celebrate “75 Years of Imagination” at a special Dr. Seuss event this Saturday, 2/25, from 1p-3p. Families can wander Dr. Seuss’s whimsical world of imaginary wonder by participating in the event’s fun-filled activities. The mall will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Theodor Seuss Geisel’s first-ever published children’s book, “And To Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street.”

    Ice Skating at Blue Cross RiverRink at Penn’s Landing
    Come out and enjoy the RiverRink before it closes next weekend for the season. The Blue Cross RiverRink is standard hockey Olympic regulation size, 200 ft. x 85ft. The rink complex features a heated facility, food and beverage concessions, skate rentals, viewing areas, a private party room, video game room and public rest rooms.

    ComedySportz for kids
    Come out for come comedy fun at The Playground, 2030 Sansom Street in Center City, this Sunday from 11a – 12p. ComedySportz for kids is a fun-sized version of our long-running show only shorter, sillier and kiddy-er. Three ComedySportz players and a ref play games competing for the children’s laughter. It’s fast, clean and smart, perfect for young kids and their handlers. And just to make sure it’s really fun, the show features audience participation and opportunities for fans to join the players on stage. (The show runs about an hour and costs $10/person.)
