Andrew Lloyd Webber has composed the music for one hit musical after another, and "School of Rock" is his latest smash. Adapted from the 2003 film "School of Rock" that launched Jack Black as a full-blown star, the musical features 14 new songs from Lloyd Webber and all the original songs from the film. Kicked out of his band and struggling to make ends meet, Dewey finds himself in the most unlikely of jobs -- teaching at a prestigious prep school. When he discovers his students' talent for classical music, he decides to teach them about rock 'n' roll, turning this class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, mind-blowing rock band. Funny, fearless, far-out and a blast for audiences, this new youth version at the Media Theatre maintains the integrity of the Broadway hit. Don't miss the show that Entertainment Weekly calls "an inspiring jolt of energy, joy and mad skillz!" [less-]

The comedic storytelling of Ms. Pat is founded on some intense sources of inspiration. A mother of two by the age of 15, and a dealer of drugs throughout her teenage years (during which she was shot twice and arrested a number of times), Ms. Pat managed to turn her life around and find some hard-hitting humor in the difficult life she'd led. In fact, it was during visits to the welfare office for food stamps that it was first brought to her attention that she had a real knack for telling funny stories. Now, more than a decade later, her comedy career continues to thrive. She's appeared on TV Guide Network's "StandUp in Stilettos" and Nickelodeon's "Mom's Night Out" and Comedy Central's "This Is Not Happening". She's also a regular guest on the syndicated "Bob and Tom Radio Show", and appears on Katt Williams' DVD "Kattpacalypse." Don't miss Ms. Pat's honest, hardcore and hilarious act at Punch Line Philly.
